Designed
by the award-winning
architectural firm of Ferguson & Shamamian and Interior Decoration by New York designer James Andrew, the Marsh Island Clubhouse
is located at the head of Marsh Island's protected harbor.
Nestled between the marina and Marsh Island's 2.2 acre lakefront preserve,
the Marsh Island Clubhouse provides architectural inspiration for the
remainder of the community. In a style which pays homage to Florida's
unique heritage with a turn-of-the-century design, the clubhouse carefully
integrates the finest coastal building practices rooted in sensitive environmental
concerns.
From
wide, light filled raised porches that embrace the harbor to exquisitely
detailed rafter tails, ceiling fans, and high-pitched roofs, the Clubhouse
affords the residents of Marsh Island an opportunity for quiet reflection
of a long forgotten coastal lifestyle.
Beyond
its charm and graciousness, the Clubhouse at Marsh Island Club is a functioning
entertainment center. Complete with a self-sufficient catering kitchen
and the facilities for comfortable entertaining, the Clubhouse is available
for Members' private gatherings as well as their personal enjoyment.
